Senior Embroidery Puncher

Motifz Textile is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embroidery Puncher to join their creative and production team at their Lahore facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in embroidery punching, digitizing, and preparing production-ready embroidery files using Wilcom or similar software. This role requires a deep understanding of textile embroidery techniques, fabric behavior, thread sequencing, and machine requirements. The Senior Embroidery Puncher will be responsible for converting creative designs into high-quality embroidery programs that meet production standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, digitize, and modify embroidery punch files using Wilcom or equivalent software.
- Develop production-ready embroidery designs based on artwork, specifications, and sampling needs.
- Ensure correct stitch density, stitch direction, underlay, pull compensation, sequencing, and machine settings.
- Select appropriate stitch types and techniques for various fabric types and embroidery requirements.
- Review embroidery designs to identify and resolve potential production issues before bulk manufacturing.
- Conduct test runs and evaluate samples, making necessary adjustments to achieve quality standards.
- Ensure compatibility of embroidery designs with production machines and technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with Design, Sampling, Production, and Quality teams to address embroidery-related challenges.
- Maintain consistency in embroidery quality throughout sampling and bulk production phases.
- Keep organized records of embroidery designs, punch files, revisions, and production requirements.
- Handle complex embroidery designs and provide technical solutions when needed.
- Ensure all embroidery programs comply with company quality standards and production timelines.
- Mentor and support junior punchers to enhance punching quality and efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma, certification, or professional training in Embroidery Designing, Embroidery Punching, Computerized Embroidery, or a related field from a recognized institute.
- 4 to 6+ years of hands-on experience as an Embroidery Puncher/Digitizer, preferably within textile, apparel, or garment manufacturing environments.
- Proven expertise in complex embroidery punching and production handling.

Preferred Skills and Attributes
- Advanced proficiency in Wilcom or equivalent embroidery punching/digitizing software.
- Familiarity with Tajima and other embroidery machine formats/software is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of stitch types, stitch density, stitch direction, underlay, pull compensation, and sequencing.
- Excellent understanding of different fabric types and their specific embroidery requirements.
- Solid grasp of thread and color sequencing.
- Ability to accurately interpret artwork and convert it into production-ready embroidery files.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively under production pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
