As an Employee Relations Partner at Motive, you will act as a trusted advisor to Business and HR Leaders, HR Business Partners, and Legal teams. Your role will focus on fostering a fair, unbiased, and human-centered approach to resolving workplace issues. You will be instrumental in shaping a positive employee experience by managing complaints, conflicts, and legal charges with neutrality and thoroughness. This position involves facilitating open-door communication, conducting sensitive investigations, and providing reliable support to both employees and leadership. You will report directly to the Senior HRBP Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the investigation process end-to-end: Take full ownership of employee relations cases from intake through resolution, ensuring timely and well-documented outcomes.
- Manage complex and sensitive cases: Conduct comprehensive investigations into a wide range of employee concerns, including human rights, workplace conduct, safety, and attendance, providing sound recommendations for resolution.
- Maintain detailed records: Keep accurate and thorough logs of investigations, documenting notes and supporting materials promptly and consistently.
- Facilitate the open-door process: Serve as an approachable point of contact for employees, handling formal complaints and legal charges with impartiality and rigor.
- Collaborate to strengthen ER capabilities: Work closely with Legal and HR Business Partners to design and implement employee relations processes, programs, and tools that enhance organizational effectiveness and prevent escalation of issues.
- Support dispute resolution efforts: Participate in mediation and alternative dispute resolution to help parties reach fair and mutually agreeable outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR Business Partner roles, with at least 3 years focused on employee relations or labor relations.
- Conflict management skills: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive conversations, de-escalate conflicts, and guide parties toward resolution.
- Employment law knowledge: Familiarity with employment laws in Pakistan and India is highly desirable.
- Communication skills: Strong, empathetic communicator capable of building trust across all organizational levels.
