Key Responsibilities

Design and develop the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and architecture by thoroughly understanding security requirements aligned with business strategies. Conduct system security vulnerability and risk analyses to identify risks related to business processes, operations, information security programs, and technology projects. Monitor and communicate emerging security threats, designing architectural elements to mitigate these risks effectively.

Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures, recommending necessary enhancements. Conduct product best-fit analyses to ensure comprehensive security coverage across various architectural facets, including layered security, zoning, integration, API, endpoint security, data security, and compliance with regulations. Perform security assessments aligned with frameworks such as NIST, SANS, and CIS.

Provide technical support during deployment, configuration, integration, and administration of security technologies. Demonstrate expertise in ITIL or key process domains such as incident, configuration, change, and problem management. Assist in disaster recovery efforts following security breaches, attacks, or unauthorized activities.

Develop and manage a portfolio of future cybersecurity solutions encompassing systems, shared infrastructure, applications, and hardware to align with business objectives. Analyze technology environments and client requirements to establish collaboration design frameworks and architectures. Create comprehensive RFPs tailored to client standards and technology stacks.

Offer technical leadership in designing, developing, and implementing custom security solutions using modern technologies. Evaluate current state solutions, identify improvements, and define target state architectures. Articulate architectural goals, reusable patterns, and investment roadmaps clearly. Recommend solutions for seamless integration within the overall technology ecosystem. Stay informed on industry and application trends to anticipate future IT needs.

Coordinate with stakeholders on cybersecurity matters, providing timely support and recommendations. Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits related to information security. Support the audit of security best practices and ensure compliance with business, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training for team members and customers, including education on spam and malicious email threats.

Required Qualifications

- 8 to 10 years of experience in data security consulting and cybersecurity architecture.
- Proven ability to design and implement enterprise cybersecurity strategies aligned with business goals.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, SANS, CIS, and ITIL processes.
- Experience in security risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, and disaster recovery.
- Technical expertise in security technologies, including endpoint security, API security, data protection, and compliance.
- Demonstrated skills in stakeholder coordination, audit support, and cybersecurity training delivery.
