Senior Executive - Planning & Distribution

This role focuses on driving accurate demand forecasting and efficient inventory management within the apparel sector, covering lawn, ready-to-wear, menswear, and kidswear lines. The successful candidate will analyze sales data, seasonal trends, and promotional activities to develop precise store- and channel-level forecasts. They will also manage stock allocation, replenishment, and inter-store transfers to optimize inventory flow and meet customer demand across multiple retail formats, including omnichannel fulfillment. Collaboration with merchandising, buying, and logistics teams is essential to align supply plans with commercial objectives and ensure effective end-of-season stock management.

Key Responsibilities

- Apparel Demand Forecasting: Analyze point-of-sale sales velocity, seasonal trends, and promotional calendars to generate accurate demand forecasts at the store and channel levels for various apparel categories.

- Store Allocation & Auto-Replenishment: Implement initial inventory allocations based on store tiers and oversee automated replenishment processes to maintain optimal stock levels and preserve size curves ranging from XS to XXL on the retail floor.

- Inter-Store Transfers (IST) & Balancing: Monitor stock turnover rates and coordinate transfers between stores or central warehouses to relocate slow-moving inventory to locations with higher demand.

- Omnichannel Fulfillment Support: Manage safety stock and inventory buffers to support e-commerce operations, ensuring smooth order fulfillment from warehouse to customer delivery.

- Commercial & S&OP Collaboration: Engage in weekly trade reviews alongside Merchandising, Buying, and Logistics teams to adjust dispatch plans, execute markdown strategies for end-of-season stock, and facilitate liquidation of aged inventory.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Textile Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in demand planning, allocation, or inventory distribution within apparel or fashion retail.

- Proficiency in retail ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle RMS, or equivalent platforms.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query and Pivot Tables.

- Strong understanding of size-curve distribution, seasonal product lifecycle management, and high-volume apparel logistics.
