We are seeking a seasoned Senior Executive - Finance to join our team in Karachi. This role involves managing critical accounting functions, credit control, payroll processing, and financial reporting to support our US-based operations. The position requires working fully onsite with shift timings from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM to align with US business hours. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 8 years of relevant experience and a strong background in finance and accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including collections, invoicing, and monitoring ageing reports.
- Oversee Accounts Payable activities, vendor reconciliations, and ensure timely payment schedules.
- Conduct credit assessments, recommending appropriate customer credit limits and payment terms.
- Process and verify monthly payroll and sales commissions accurately.
- Maintain precise ERP records and prepare financial reports.
- Support month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and management reporting.
- Coordinate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal departments to facilitate smooth operations.
- Provide operational support during US working hours to ensure seamless business continuity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or professional certifications such as ACCA or ICMA.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Strong expertise in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, collections, credit control, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience working with US customers or supporting US operations is highly desirable.
