- Lead the adoption of the design system, manage component APIs, and ensure consistency across various applications.
- Implement sophisticated data visualizations and operational telemetry views that enhance user experience.
- Establish and enforce standards for state management, performance optimization, accessibility compliance, testing strategies, and front-end observability.
- Review components delivered by contractors, maintain reference implementations, and update documentation to support ongoing development.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in front-end engineering, including at least 2 years working with micro-frontends, design systems, or complex analytical applications.
- Senior-level expertise in Angular and TypeScript development.
- Proven experience designing and implementing production micro-frontend architectures and integration patterns.
- Strong background in design-system creation and reusable component development.
- Skilled in building data visualizations tailored for analytical or operational applications.
- Proficient in component-level, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Excellent judgment in UX design, with a focus on accessibility and browser performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with telemetry and observability user interfaces, including handling real-time updates.
- Familiarity with module federation or similar micro-frontend composition techniques.
- Knowledge of Storybook, visual regression testing, and front-end error monitoring tools.
Deliverables and Success Criteria
- Delivery of an approved micro-frontend architecture along with a clear integration contract.
- Development of design-system-aligned reference components and a robust application shell.
- Completion of critical Studio and cockpit workflows with comprehensive test coverage and accessibility compliance.
- Creation of engineering standards and a review checklist to guide external implementation teams.
