Senior Full Stack / Backend Engineer (PHP/Laravel)

Innoxitech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack / Backend Engineer with expertise in PHP and Laravel to join our dynamic team in Faisalabad, Pakistan. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for a developer with a strong background in backend development, API design, database management, application security, and DevOps practices. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and maintaining scalable web applications and backend services that meet high standards of performance and security.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel frameworks.
- Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Develop robust authentication, authorization, role-based access control (RBAC), and access management systems.
- Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL and PostgreSQL databases to ensure efficient data handling.
- Enhance application performance, security, and scalability through continuous improvements.
- Manage deployments and infrastructure including Linux servers, Nginx, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, optimizing existing systems for reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to contribute to system architecture and the implementation of new features.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in PHP and Laravel for backend development.
- Solid understanding of system architecture and backend development principles.
- Proven experience designing and integrating REST APIs and working with third-party services.
- Proficient in MySQL and PostgreSQL database design and optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of authentication, authorization, RBAC, and access control mechanisms.
- Good understanding of application security and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with Git version control, Docker containerization, CI/CD pipelines, Linux server management, and Nginx configuration.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills to handle complex technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in any of the following areas will be considered a strong advantage:
- Development or integration of biometric attendance systems.
- Working with facial recognition or fingerprint authentication technologies.
- Building identity verification systems.
- Developing security-focused applications.
- Handling high-volume or enterprise-level backend systems.

This role is based in Faisalabad, Pakistan, and requires the candidate to work on-site. Applicants currently located outside Faisalabad should be willing to relocate to join the team.
