We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden, working within a hybrid model that blends office presence at Lindholmen Science Park with remote work flexibility. This hands-on role involves driving the technical direction and delivery of partner-enabled services through full-stack development, primarily leveraging AWS cloud-native technologies. You will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, product teams, and UI/UX specialists to enhance APIs, developer platforms, and scalable service solutions. The position demands strong technical ownership, leadership in development initiatives, and the ability to deliver secure, maintainable, and high-performing applications across both front-end and back-end environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical efforts alongside project managers and solution architects, taking ownership of development tasks, conducting code reviews, and promoting continuous improvement.
- Design, develop, maintain, and evolve partner solutions, reusable components, APIs, and full-stack applications using modern engineering practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture, product, design, business analysis, and development teams to translate requirements into seamless technical solutions.
- Support architectural activities by advocating scalable, maintainable designs and evaluating new technologies and frameworks to enhance engineering efficiency and user experience.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, automated testing strategies, performance optimization, and quality controls to ensure reliable software delivery.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, development guidelines, and reusable patterns; actively participate in onboarding and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Explore and implement innovative engineering practices, including AI-assisted development, to improve productivity and software quality.
- Drive the evolution of partner service enablers and APIs, ensuring consistency, scalability, reliability, and maintainability across applications.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive professional experience with TypeScript and modern full-stack development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS, including serverless architectures and cloud-native services.
- Proficient in Node.js and React.js development.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs or similar service interfaces.
- Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with AWS CDK.
- Solid understanding of scalable application architecture, reusable components, integration patterns, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience with automated testing, code reviews, debugging, and software quality best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to take technical ownership and collaborate effectively with architects, project leads, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues into manageable solutions.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience within the automotive industry or related digital/service environments.
- Additional hands-on experience with AWS CDK if prior IaC experience was gained using other tools.

- Experience creating reusable developer-platform components, SDKs, or service frameworks.
- Skills in facilitating technical workshops, onboarding engineers, mentoring, and sharing development standards.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and innovative ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Recommended professional experience of 6+ years in software development, with significant hands-on full-stack work in complex production environments demonstrating senior-level technical ownership.
