Senior Full Stack Developer

We are currently seeking a senior developer to join our Modernization team, focusing on building new web products from front-end interfaces to back-end services and databases. This role involves hands-on development within an AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC), where AI tools assist in planning and building, while engineers provide direction, review outputs, and make critical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and test full-stack features including back-end APIs, data layers, and user interfaces.
- Collaborate with Product and Development Management to translate requirements into actionable and maintainable code.
- Maintain high code quality with thorough testing and clear documentation to ensure ease of future development.
- Integrate AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code into daily workflows, including planning, coding, testing, refactoring, and code reviews.
- Critically evaluate AI-generated code to identify and correct errors before production deployment.
- Develop and share team-wide best practices, reusable workflows, and standards for AI-assisted development.
- Utilize GitHub for source control, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Track project progress and scope accurately using Linear or similar tools.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and IT teams to manage deployments, environments, and resolve production issues.
- Mentor team members to elevate code quality and design standards.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on building production APIs and services using C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Proven hands-on experience developing production user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, including schema design, complex query writing, and performance optimization.
- Experience writing automated tests for both back-end and front-end codebases (e.g., xUnit, Vitest).
- Daily practical use of Claude Code or a comparable AI coding assistant, with the ability to demonstrate examples.
- Solid understanding of AI-Driven Development Lifecycle concepts and their impact on planning, review, and team workflows.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows, including pull requests and code reviews.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Demonstrated senior-level ownership, capable of scoping work, making trade-offs, and delivering features through to release.
- Strong judgment in balancing AI assistance with human oversight, including rigorous testing and verification of AI outputs.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Preferred candidates will have experience migrating legacy desktop software to web applications, building AI-assisted workflows for teams, and working with Azure cloud environments. Familiarity with Linear or similar project tracking tools, Terraform for infrastructure as code, OAuth/OpenID Connect for authentication, monorepos, and end-to-end testing frameworks like Playwright is advantageous.
