We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to driving our innovative projects forward. In this role, you will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to build and optimize scalable, robust, and high-performance backend systems primarily using Node.js and JavaScript frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain backend systems using Node.js, ensuring they are high-performing, secure, and scalable.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices to support frontend applications and enable seamless integration with third-party platforms.
- Design database schemas and manage data storage solutions using MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, optimizing for efficient data handling and retrieval.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other team members to deliver cohesive, high-quality features.
- Conduct code reviews, write comprehensive documentation, and implement best practices to ensure maintainable and clean code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, implementing solutions to improve system stability and security.
- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate relevant technologies to enhance application functionality and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Node.js.
- Proven expertise in designing and building RESTful APIs and developing microservices architectures.
- Solid experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Familiarity with containerization and deployment tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimizing code.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
