The Senior Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of Deel’s platform. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that support Deel’s global workforce and payroll services.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Express; experience with NestJS, Vite, and Next.js is a plus.
- Design and implement server-side APIs, data models, and business logic primarily using the Express framework.
- Build client-side React components, hooks, stories, and tests to interact seamlessly with server-side services.
- Optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions with PostgreSQL.
- Create reusable and modular components on both front and back ends to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to deliver high-quality applications.
- Stay current with emerging web development trends and recommend process improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, methodologies, and tools.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on TypeScript.
- Expertise in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using the specified technologies.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, remote-first environment valuing teamwork and camaraderie.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for solving customer problems through coding and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with SaaS products operating 24/7 on major cloud platforms.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Chai, Storybook, React Testing Library, and automated testing tools like Cypress.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
