We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Consultant to lead and deliver end-to-end ERP implementations. The ideal candidate will manage the entire project lifecycle from requirement gathering through to post-go-live support, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and industry best practices. This role requires strong functional expertise in Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement modules, combined with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and internal teams. The consultant will also provide training, support, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage full-cycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment with minimal supervision. Conduct fit-gap analyses to align system capabilities with business processes and optimize configurations for maximum efficiency. Deliver user training and provide ongoing post-implementation support to ensure smooth adoption and client satisfaction. Maintain compliance with Microsoft Sure Step methodology, industry best practices, and relevant standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by building strong relationships and delivering solutions that meet their business objectives. Understand client processes deeply and recommend improvements leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O functionalities. Advocate for best practices and standards to support effective ERP adoption, ensuring clients recognize and value the consultant’s expertise and professionalism.
Collaborate closely with functional teams, technical consultants, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution. Support and mentor junior consultants by sharing knowledge and best practices. Ensure all functional teams comply with established standards, guidelines, and quality expectations to maintain high project delivery standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Information Technology. Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, specifically in Finance or Supply Chain modules, is essential. Professional qualifications such as ACCA are preferred and considered an advantage.
A minimum of 3 to 4 years of ERP consulting experience, including at least two full-cycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. Strong understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Manufacturing modules is required. Proven ability to independently manage ERP implementation projects with moderate to minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Warehouse Management is highly desirable. Exposure to additional modules like HR, Payroll, Landed Cost Management, or Project Management Accounting (PMA) will be considered a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are critical for engaging with diverse stakeholders. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities are essential to navigate complex project challenges. The ability to mentor junior consultants and contribute positively to team dynamics is highly valued. A customer-oriented approach is vital to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and successful solution delivery.
