Senior Fund Accountant – Real Estate Funds - TJ / 1913655

Our client, Be One Professionals Ltd, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Fund Accountant specializing in Real Estate Funds to join their team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in fund accounting within the real estate sector, with strong expertise in eFront software. This role focuses on managing complex real estate fund structures, including NAV calculation, fund financial reporting, and preparation of accurate financial statements. The position demands a detail-oriented professional capable of overseeing monthly bookkeeping, reviewing management accounts, and producing investor reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage monthly bookkeeping for all entities within real estate fund structures, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and review periodic management accounts, investor reports, and annual financial statements in accordance with established accounting principles.
- Calculate and review Net Asset Values (NAVs) following relevant accounting standards and fund documentation to provide precise valuations.
- Maintain and update accounting records and general ledgers for complex fund structures and special purpose vehicles, safeguarding the integrity of financial information.
- Account for investment acquisitions, disposals, valuations, capital transactions, and other complex fund activities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Prepare capital call and distribution calculations, supporting timely and accurate investor reporting.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, investment holdings, loan positions, and other balance sheet accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate external audits by preparing supporting documentation and liaising directly with auditors to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to real estate funds.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within fund accounting processes, utilizing eFront capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of three years’ experience in fund accounting, specifically within real estate funds.
- Proficiency in eFront fund accounting software is essential.
- Strong knowledge of NAV calculation methodologies and fund financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex fund structures and special purpose vehicles.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, corporate policies, and regulatory frameworks applicable to real estate funds.
- Proven ability to prepare and review management accounts, investor reports, and financial statements.
