The Senior Grant Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of projects at the regional level. This role demands efficient coordination and oversight to guarantee that all activities are completed on time, within scope, and in full compliance with approved objectives, work plans, donor requirements, and IsDB guidelines. The Senior Grant Manager will lead and provide operational guidance to the Grant Management Team, consultants, and Partner Organizations, ensuring high-quality program delivery and the achievement of desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the effective and timely implementation of projects across the assigned province, region, and districts.
- Ensure all project activities are aligned with approved objectives, work plans, donor requirements, and IsDB guidelines.
- Provide operational guidance and support to the Grant Management Team, consultants, and Partner Organizations to maintain quality and consistency in program delivery.
- Monitor project progress closely, addressing any challenges or delays to keep activities on schedule and up to standard.
- Facilitate coordination among various stakeholders to encourage collaboration and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements and maintain accurate documentation related to project implementation.
- Support capacity-building initiatives within the team and partner organizations to enhance project outcomes.
- Contribute to the preparation of periodic progress reports and evaluations as required by donors and organizational leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing grant-funded projects, preferably at the regional or provincial level.
- Strong understanding of donor requirements and guidelines, especially those related to IsDB-funded initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate teams, consultants, and partner organizations effectively.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a strong focus on timely and quality delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze challenges and develop practical solutions to ensure project success.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation processes in grant management.
- Relevant academic qualifications in project management, international development, or a related field.
