We are looking for a seasoned Senior HR Executive / HR Lead to join our financial institution at our Gulberg office. This role demands a proactive professional who can manage comprehensive HR functions, including recruitment, employee lifecycle management, policy development, and HRMS implementation. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in shaping HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and driving efficient HR operations aligned with organizational goals. Experience in the financial services sector and expertise in digital HR solutions are essential to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment processes such as workforce planning, job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding. Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Ensure timely hiring of high-quality talent aligned with organizational objectives. Develop employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.

HR Operations: Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, confirmation, performance management, and offboarding. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Manage payroll coordination, employee benefits, and HR reporting.

HR Compliance & Policy Implementation: Establish and enforce strict HR policies suited for a financial institution, covering attendance, leave management, employee conduct, and workplace protocols. Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards. Conduct internal audits and maintain proper documentation for compliance purposes. Promote a culture of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical behavior.

HRMS Development & Digital Transformation: Lead the design, development, or implementation of an in-house Human Resource Management System (HRMS). Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to define system requirements and ensure seamless integration. Automate HR processes such as attendance tracking, leave management, payroll inputs, and performance evaluations. Generate analytical reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.

Employee Relations & Organizational Development: Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters. Address employee grievances and foster a positive and productive work environment. Drive employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies. Support training and development programs to enhance workforce capabilities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An MBA with a focus on HR or relevant certifications such as SHRM or CIPD will be considered an advantage. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 to 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the financial services or banking sector. Proven expertise in managing end-to-end recruitment and HR operations is essential. Demonstrated experience in HR compliance and policy development is required. Hands-on experience in HRMS development or implementation, particularly with in-house systems, is mandatory. Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulatory frameworks is necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking and leadership abilities, along with strong knowledge of HR policies and compliance requirements. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are critical, as is a high level of integrity and confidentiality. Analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with project management and process improvement expertise, are important for success. Proficiency in HRIS/HRMS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite is expected.

This role offers an opportunity to lead HR functions in a dynamic financial environment, contributing to both operational excellence and organizational growth. The salary range for this position is PKR 150,000 to 250,000, reflecting the seniority and expertise required.
