A well-established medical equipment and pharmaceutical company is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive – Import to join their import team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing import operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and coordinating international logistics. This role demands a thorough understanding of import documentation and procedures, ideally within the healthcare sector, to ensure smooth and timely shipment of products.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute all import-related activities, including handling documentation, customs clearance, and logistics management. The candidate will liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to guarantee shipments are delivered on time and in a cost-effective manner. Staying updated on import regulations, tariffs, and customs procedures is essential to maintain full compliance. The role also involves preparing and managing critical import documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Additionally, the Senior Executive will troubleshoot and resolve any issues or delays encountered during the import process. Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery and proactively addressing any deviations from the schedule are also key responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required. Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of proven experience in import operations, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. A solid understanding of international trade practices, customs regulations, and import compliance is essential. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders. The role also demands a detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

This is a full-time position based at the company’s location, offering a salary range of Rs50,000 to Rs120,000 per month. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the healthcare sector, contributing to the efficient import of vital medical and pharmaceutical products.
