Senior iOS Developer

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain production-ready iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks. Build scalable and maintainable application architectures with reusable components. Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, authentication systems, and backend services. Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into effective user experiences. Optimize app performance, responsiveness, security, and memory usage. Write clean, testable, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior developers. Manage app releases, provisioning, certificates, and App Store submissions. Implement unit tests, UI tests, and CI/CD workflows where appropriate. Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and continuous code quality improvements. Communicate progress, technical challenges, and delivery risks clearly to the team and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
Proven professional experience developing and shipping iOS applications in production environments. Advanced proficiency in Swift, Xcode, and core iOS frameworks. Strong understanding of UIKit and/or SwiftUI depending on project needs. Solid knowledge of iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture. Experience with REST API integration, JSON handling, authentication, and asynchronous operations. Deep understanding of memory management, concurrency, app lifecycle, and performance optimization. Familiarity with Git, debugging tools, code reviews, and software development best practices. Experience with unit testing, UI testing, CI/CD pipelines, and App Store deployment processes. Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and meet project deadlines. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Willingness to work full-time on-site during night shifts aligned with US business hours.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience publishing and maintaining multiple applications on the Apple App Store. Knowledge of Swift Concurrency, Combine, Swift Package Manager, and modular app architectures. Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, analytics, deep linking, and third-party integrations. Experience working with international clients or distributed development teams. Proven ability to build scalable mobile applications from MVP through production growth.

Compensation and Work Schedule
The position offers a monthly salary range of PKR 250,000 to 300,000, commensurate with experience and technical expertise. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gulshan Town, Karachi, requiring night shift availability aligned with US business hours.
