Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with 3 to 4 years of experience in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise in Java and Spring Boot, complemented by working knowledge of Python. Additionally, familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, and Vue.js is required. Practical experience in application deployment, production troubleshooting, and managing live environments is essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design, build, and integrate REST APIs and microservices to support application functionality.
- Utilize Python for scripting, automation tasks, and backend integrations as needed.
- Contribute to frontend development efforts and API integration using React.js, Angular, and Vue.js.
- Work with SQL databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, optimizing queries and improving application performance.
- Manage application deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
- Operate with Docker containers, CI/CD pipelines, Linux servers, and cloud platforms to ensure smooth delivery and scalability.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services to extend application capabilities.
- Write clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and actively participate in technical decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with QA teams, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and high-quality applications.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 4 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Proven working knowledge of Python for backend scripting and automation.
- Experience with frontend technologies including React.js, Angular, Vue.js, as well as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including database design and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience in application deployment and production support environments.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Linux operating systems, Git version control, and cloud platforms.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to take ownership of technical tasks and provide guidance to junior team members.
