Senior Java Engineers

Devinity is seeking experienced Senior Java Engineers for a remote, flexible, contract-based opportunity. This role offers the chance to work with multiple client engagements on a project basis, providing $1,500 USD per project per month for each assigned client engagement that converts into a project. Candidates can start contributing part-time, around 1–2 hours daily, primarily for client calls, making it ideal for professionals currently employed full-time. Over time, involvement can increase, with strong engineers potentially managing up to four projects simultaneously and leading small engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with prospective clients through calls to understand their technical requirements.
- Discuss system architecture and implementation strategies to align with client needs.
- Represent Devinity professionally during technical interviews and evaluations.
- Independently handle technical discussions and client-facing interactions.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and potentially build and lead engineering teams to deliver solutions effectively.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and backend development.
- Solid understanding of system architecture, databases, and software design principles.
- Excellent English communication skills with confidence in client-facing roles.
- Ability to independently conduct technical evaluations and represent the company professionally.
