This position is for a Senior Long-Form Content Writer based in Lahore, requiring on-site work at our DHA Phase 6 office. The role involves transforming complex topics into clear, engaging, and informative long-form content such as articles, guides, and thought leadership pieces that meet both search and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong research abilities, a solid understanding of SEO principles without writing solely for search engines, and the skill to craft focused, well-structured content typically ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 words.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and produce high-quality long-form articles, guides, and thought-leadership content.
- Simplify complex or technical subjects into accessible content without losing depth or accuracy.
- Develop detailed outlines to ensure logical flow and structure throughout each piece.
- Conduct original research using credible sources including industry reports, studies, expert opinions, and authoritative publications.
- Apply on-page SEO best practices such as search intent, EEAT (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness), GEO and AEO optimization, keyword placement, internal linking, headings, and overall content architecture.
- Write compelling introductions, smooth transitions, clear explanations, and strong conclusions while avoiding generic filler.
- Incorporate relevant data, examples, expert quotes, and evidence to enhance content credibility.
- Review and refine existing content to improve accuracy, clarity, depth, SEO performance, and readability.
- Adapt writing style to suit different audiences, industries, and content goals.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in search algorithms, content marketing, AI search technologies, and editorial standards.
- Manage deadlines effectively while maintaining a high standard of writing quality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional content writing experience, preferably with a focus on long-form content. Fresh graduates with strong writing skills are also encouraged to apply.
- A robust portfolio showcasing published articles, guides, reports, or other substantial written work.
- Excellent command of English grammar, sentence structure, and writing style.
- Strong research capabilities and meticulous fact-checking skills.
- Good understanding of SEO concepts and the ability to write with search intent in mind.
- Ability to organize large volumes of information into coherent, reader-friendly structures.
- Experience writing for sectors such as B2B, SaaS, technology, business, marketing, parenting, or other complex fields is advantageous.
- Ability to write in a natural, human voice rather than using generic or AI-generated language.
- Strong editing skills and the ability to self-review work critically.
- Openness to feedback, quick revision turnaround, and consistency across multiple projects.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
