Senior Manager – Finance

A well-established group of companies based in Karachi is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager – Finance to lead and manage all aspects of financial planning, reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, cost control, and statutory compliance. This full-time role requires overseeing the finance function to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and delivering actionable financial insights that drive profitability and business growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing finance operations within a group or multinational company environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis processes to facilitate informed management decisions.
- Oversee accounting functions, financial reporting, taxation, treasury operations, cash flow, and working capital management.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting and management information for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets.
- Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, credit facilities, and capital structuring to optimize financial resources.
- Supervise statutory, internal, and external audits, ensuring their timely completion and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Liaise effectively with regulatory bodies such as SECP, auditors, banks, investors, and financial institutions.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business growth, investment decisions, expansion initiatives, and profitability enhancement.
- Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions and improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous professional development.
- Drive process improvements, cost optimization, and enhance financial efficiency across the organization.

Required Qualifications

- Master of Commerce (M.Com) or MBA with a major in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Age range: 35 to 45 years.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong expertise in financial analysis.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, preferably within a group of companies or multinational corporations.
- Male candidates are preferred for this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- The position is office-based in Karachi.
- Competitive salary package ranging from ৳600,000 to ৳800,000 per month.
- Additional benefits include two festival bonuses annually, yearly salary reviews, and other benefits as per company policy.
