Senior Manager Engineering

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Manager to join our technical team, supporting satellite network operations and deployments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in telecommunications, particularly with VSAT systems, and will be responsible for managing both technical and administrative aspects of the regional office. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a readiness to travel for site visits and fieldwork as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration: Oversee daily operations and administration of the regional office to maintain smooth and efficient functioning.

Network Installation & Maintenance: Manage the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VSAT networks, including C-Band, KU Band, and YAHSAT systems, along with wireless connectivity solutions.

Vendor Collaboration: Coordinate wireless radio connectivity and DXX network installations in line with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), working closely with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Customer Service Excellence: Address client complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain accurate engineering and operational documentation to support ongoing projects and compliance requirements.

Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a safe and organized work environment by adhering to departmental safety guidelines.

Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, providing hands-on support to field engineers during their assignments.

Financial Oversight: Manage monthly petty cash for the Peshawar office, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in the Odoo system.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 16 years of education.
- At least 12 years of relevant professional experience in satellite network operations or telecommunications.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and hands-on experience with VSAT systems, RF testing, and antenna alignment.
- Proficient in using Network Management System (NMS) and Network Operations Center (NOC) monitoring tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and fieldwork as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Candidates with certifications in networking and demonstrated expertise in satellite communications will be preferred. The position offers a competitive salary range from Rs40,000 to Rs370,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The work location is on-site, requiring physical presence at the regional office and field locations.
