Senior Manual QA

We are seeking a Manual QA Lead to join our team in Johar Town, Lahore, Pakistan, on a full-time onsite basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through thorough manual testing. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to identify bugs, validate features, and maintain a consistent user experience. Your meticulous attention to detail and systematic approach to testing will play a crucial role in enhancing product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct comprehensive manual testing across web and mobile platforms, including functional, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements and design specifications.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing to ensure consistent performance.
- Validate features against business requirements and acceptance criteria to guarantee alignment with project goals.

Bug Management:
- Identify, document, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps, accompanied by screenshots or videos and severity levels.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to triage and prioritize issues effectively.
- Track defects throughout their lifecycle and verify fixes before closure to maintain product integrity.

Collaboration:
- Engage actively in the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through to delivery.
- Work closely with developers to identify potential problem areas early in the process.
- Partner with designers to ensure UI/UX consistency across platforms.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to support agile workflows.

Process Improvement:
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation and uphold quality standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to optimize testing workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA or software engineering, preferably within gaming startups.
- Extensive experience in manual testing for both mobile and desktop web applications.
- Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for aesthetics.
- Proficient in root cause analysis and comprehensive test planning.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and tools such as Jira.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) systems like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Fluency in both Vietnamese and English.
- Experience with test automation tools including Playwright, Cypress, Appium, and Selenium.
