Senior Manual QA

We are seeking a Manual QA Lead to join our team onsite in Johar Town, Lahore, Pakistan. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through detailed manual testing. Collaborating closely with developers, designers, and product managers, you will identify bugs, validate features, and help deliver a seamless user experience. Your meticulous approach and thorough testing will play a crucial role in maintaining high product standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute comprehensive manual testing across web and mobile platforms, including functional, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements and design specifications.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing to ensure consistent performance.
- Validate features against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps, accompanied by screenshots or videos, and assign appropriate severity levels.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to triage and prioritize issues effectively.
- Track defects throughout their lifecycle and verify fixes before closure.
- Participate actively in the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through to delivery.
- Work closely with developers to pinpoint potential problem areas early.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure UI/UX consistency.
- Engage in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective meetings.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation and uphold quality standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to optimize testing workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in QA or software engineering, preferably within gaming startups.
- Extensive experience in manual testing for both mobile and desktop web applications.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis and comprehensive test planning.
- Experience working within Agile environments, particularly with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies and tools such as Jira.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) systems like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Fluency in both Vietnamese and English.
- Experience with test automation tools including Playwright, Cypress, Appium, and Selenium.
