Senior Merchandiser – Industrial Engineering Background (Knitwear Textile Factory)

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Merchandiser with a background in Industrial Engineering to join our knitwear textile factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in garment and fabric costing, excellent communication skills for buyer interaction, and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments including production, planning, and sourcing. This role is critical to ensuring timely order fulfillment, cost control, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all buyer communications from initial order inquiry through to final shipment, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Prepare detailed and accurate garment and fabric costings to maintain competitive pricing while safeguarding profitability.
- Collaborate closely with production, Industrial Engineering, sourcing, and quality assurance teams to facilitate smooth order execution.
- Track order progress, maintain Time & Action (T&A) calendars, and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and technical specifications directly with customers to meet their requirements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience specifically in knitwear merchandising.
- Strong expertise in fabric consumption analysis, garment costing, Standard Minute Value (SMV) calculation, and production planning.

This is a full-time position based in DHA EME, Main Multan Road, Lahore. The salary range is PKR 140,000 to 250,000 (tax-free), commensurate with experience and current compensation. Candidates are encouraged to apply only if they meet the specified experience and qualification criteria.
