Senior Merchandiser(Experience in Knit Garments)

We are looking for a Senior Merchandiser with extensive experience in knit garments to oversee the entire development process from design through production, ensuring all client quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills and advanced computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel, are essential for success in this role. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Lahore, offering a competitive salary starting at PKR 220,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities

- Track all stages of development, from fabric sourcing to finished garments, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout.
- Guarantee that samples provided to buyers meet 100% accuracy in line with client expectations.
- Coordinate closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain clear communication with clients to fully understand and implement design requirements.
- Collaborate with the sampling team to produce samples that meet client specifications.
- Source and manage all necessary accessories required for production.
- Conduct pricing exercises and prepare proposals to present to clients.
- Work with production teams to ensure proper capacity allocation and efficient workflow.
- Engage with customers to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Monitor production progress to ensure deliveries are on time and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers to secure repeat business.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 7 years of experience specifically in knit garments merchandising.
- At least 7 years of experience in garment merchandising or production planning.
- A total of 10 years of experience within the textile industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Ability to interpret product requirements and determine necessary inputs.
- Strong organizational skills with a solution-oriented and flexible approach.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to learn, innovate, and adapt to new challenges.
- Previous experience in merchandising or production planning roles.
