Senior MERN Stack Developer

InMind Global is seeking a Senior MERN Stack Developer with over six years of professional experience to join their team in Faisalabad, Punjab. This full-time role involves designing, developing, and maintaining reliable web applications across the entire stack, from front end to back end. The successful candidate will take full ownership of features, make informed technical decisions, and contribute to elevating the engineering team’s standards through code reviews and mentoring. Collaboration with designers, product owners, and fellow developers is essential to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
- Build clean, reusable, and well-tested front-end components along with responsive user interfaces.
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Model and optimize MongoDB schemas, queries, and indexes to enhance performance.
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Review code and mentor junior and mid-level developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers and product owners to deliver features on time.
- Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience, with extensive hands-on expertise in the MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js; experience with TypeScript is highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of React, including hooks, state management (Redux or similar), and performance optimization techniques.
- Solid experience in designing REST APIs and working with MongoDB, including data modeling, aggregation, and indexing.
- Good understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth, along with security best practices and API design principles.
- Familiarity with Git, code review workflows, and writing unit and integration tests.
- Ability to design maintainable and scalable systems, and clearly articulate technical decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with Next.js, GraphQL, or microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Previous experience leading a small team or serving as a technical lead.
- Exposure to agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs46,000 to Rs220,000, commensurate with experience and skills. The role requires working on-site at the Faisalabad office.
