Senior Microbiologist

We are seeking a skilled Microbiologist with a strong background in pharmaceutical microbiology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid educational foundation and practical experience in microbiological testing within a regulated laboratory environment. This role involves hands-on laboratory work, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining accurate documentation to support quality assurance and regulatory requirements. The position requires dedication to maintaining high standards of laboratory operations and contributing to the overall success of the microbiology department.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Area Monitoring, Stability Testing, Endotoxin Testing, and Bioburden Testing with precision and adherence to protocols.
- Manage daily microbiology laboratory operations, including sampling, testing, and thorough documentation.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory records, ensuring timely completion and reporting of all tests.

Required Qualifications

- M.Sc. or BS degree in Microbiology or a closely related field.
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience specifically in pharmaceutical microbiology.
- Strong knowledge of microbiological testing methods and laboratory operations within a pharmaceutical setting.
