Senior Mobile App Developer – React Native / AI-Enabled Applications

We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile App Developer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience in designing and delivering polished, scalable, and production-ready mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing consumer-facing apps with excellent UI/UX, real-time features, audio processing, AI integrations, subscriptions, analytics, and robust backend services. This role requires hands-on experience in publishing apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, going beyond prototypes or simple CRUD applications to build sophisticated, fully functional products.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Create smooth, responsive, and visually polished user interfaces based on Figma or other design specifications.
- Architect reusable, scalable, and maintainable codebases.
- Implement authentication, onboarding flows, personalized user experiences, and user profiles.
- Develop audio recording, playback, and microphone-based features.
- Integrate speech-to-text, AI/LLM APIs, and intelligent feedback systems.
- Work with APIs analyzing user-generated text, voice, or behavioral data.
- Build dashboards, progress tracking, scoring systems, charts, and user analytics.
- Implement timers, countdowns, recording sessions, and activity-based user flows.
- Integrate push notifications and other device-level functionalities.
- Implement secure subscription and in-app purchase systems for iOS and Android.
- Connect backend APIs, databases, and cloud services.
- Optimize app performance, caching, state management, and error handling.
- Test applications across multiple devices, operating systems, and screen sizes.
- Manage production builds, certificates, signing, provisioning profiles, and release configurations.
- Handle Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console submissions personally.
- Resolve app review issues, rejected builds, and release-related challenges.
- Maintain applications post-launch, including bug fixes, upgrades, and OS compatibility updates.

Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of professional mobile application development experience.
- Strong commercial experience with React Native.
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Proven track record of building and releasing multiple production-grade mobile applications.
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality mobile apps personally developed.
- Experience personally publishing applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Deep understanding of React Native application architecture.
- Experience with modern state management tools such as TanStack Query, Zustand, or Redux Toolkit.
- Skilled in integrating REST APIs and asynchronous services.
- Experience with authentication systems like Supabase, Firebase, or Auth0.
- Familiarity with relational or cloud databases.
- Strong knowledge of native iOS and Android permissions and device APIs.
- Experience implementing microphone and audio recording functionality.
- Experience working with speech recognition, transcription, or audio-processing APIs.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini.
- Experience implementing AI-generated structured feedback and scoring workflows.
- Experience building subscription-based applications and integrating Apple In-App Purchases and Google Play Billing.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms and event tracking.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Mandatory experience managing app deployment processes, including iOS certificates, provisioning profiles, App Store Connect, Apple Developer accounts, TestFlight, Android signing keys, Google Play Console, testing tracks, versioning, and store compliance. Experience limited to providing builds for submission by others will not be considered sufficient.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Expo / EAS Build & Submit, Supabase, Firebase, Node.js, PostgreSQL, serverless or edge functions.
- Knowledge of WebSockets or real-time functionality.
- Familiarity with speech-to-text, text-to-speech APIs, audio signal processing, and voice analytics.
- Experience with AI-based evaluation or scoring systems, charts, and data visualization.
- Knowledge of RevenueCat, Stripe, push notifications, deep linking, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, crash monitoring, and production analytics.

We seek a developer who takes full ownership of their work, translates product requirements into technically sound solutions, writes clean and maintainable code, and pays close attention to UI details and user experience. The candidate should understand the difference between prototypes and production-ready applications, identify technical risks early, communicate clearly about timelines and blockers, and work independently through to successful production release.

Applicants must provide links to 3–5 mobile applications they have personally developed, including Apple App Store and/or Google Play links. A clear explanation of their role and responsibilities in each app is required, along with confirmation of personal submission to both app stores. Experience with AI, voice/audio, speech recognition, subscriptions, analytics, or personalized mobile experiences should be detailed. Applications without live app examples or demonstrable production experience may not be considered.
