Senior Network Integration & Implementation Engineer – L3 | Islamabad | JazzWorld

JazzWorld, Pakistan’s fastest-growing digital ecosystem, is seeking a Senior Network Integration & Implementation Engineer to join its Network & Security practice. In this role, you will act as the senior hands-on engineer and Huawei technical lead, responsible for designing, integrating, and delivering complex networks across data centres, enterprise WAN and SD-WAN, campus and wireless, as well as service-provider IP core and edge environments. You will lead Huawei technical delivery and integrate multi-vendor platforms for public-sector, financial-services, service-provider, and large-enterprise customers. This position owns the networks connecting compute, storage, backup, and GPU infrastructure, collaborating closely with Systems Integration teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for data centre, enterprise WAN, SD-WAN, campus, wireless, and IP core/edge networks.
- Design data centre fabrics ranging from traditional three-tier architectures to spine-leaf VXLAN/BGP EVPN, including multi-site orchestration for active-active and disaster recovery setups.
- Develop national-scale SD-WAN and campus solutions incorporating zero-touch provisioning, overlay/underlay architecture, controller high availability, and data centre integration.
- Lead Huawei implementations across iMaster NCE Fabric and Campus, CloudEngine and S-series switching, NE and AR routing platforms, and Huawei firewalls, while integrating other vendor solutions.
- Manage IP core/provider-edge transformations, technology refreshes, SDN deployments, multi-vendor migrations, and live production cutovers with well-defined validation and fallback plans.
- Design network fabrics optimized for AI/GPU workloads and integrate networks with firewalls, load balancers, virtualization, cloud platforms, and existing multi-vendor environments.
- Embed security into network designs through firewall placement, segmentation, and policy migration; lead complex network escalations and root-cause analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation including HLDs/LLDs, test plans, migration and rollback procedures, and as-built records; lead customer User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and formal acceptance.
- Own Huawei technical escalations and partner engagement, maintain Huawei reference designs and configuration baselines, and mentor engineers progressing through HCIA, HCIP, and HCIE certifications.
- Support bid processes by validating solution feasibility, estimating effort and resources, assessing risks, preparing bills of quantity/materials, conducting customer workshops, proofs of concept, and delivering technical presentations.

Required Qualifications

- 8-10+ years of experience in network engineering, including a minimum of 4 years delivering Huawei network solutions and at least 3 years in a technical or team lead role on large-scale programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven track record of end-to-end production network implementation and integration for government, financial-services, or service-provider customers across data centre, WAN, and campus environments.
- Experience delivering software-defined networks at scale, such as controller-based data centre fabrics or SD-WAN rollouts exceeding 100 sites, through customer acceptance.
- Hands-on expertise with Huawei NE, AR, CloudEngine, and S-series platforms, and routing/switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and MPLS.
- Familiarity with VXLAN/BGP EVPN, SDN controllers, iMaster NCE-Fabric/Fabric Insight/MDC-MDA, iMaster NCE-Campus or CloudCampus platforms.
- Experience executing live-production technology refreshes and multi-vendor migrations with structured fallback planning.
- Understanding of security integration and service-provider IP core/edge networks.
- HCIE-Datacom certification is strongly preferred; alternatively, HCIP-Datacom or HCIP Routing & Switching certifications are required, with a commitment to attain HCIE-Datacom within three months.
