Senior Network Integration & Implementation Engineer – L3
Location: Islamabad
Company: JazzWorld

JazzWorld, Pakistan’s fastest-growing digital ecosystem, is seeking a Senior Network Integration & Implementation Engineer to join its Network & Security practice. This hands-on role serves as the Huawei technical lead, responsible for designing, integrating, and delivering complex network solutions across data centres, enterprise WAN and SD-WAN, campus and wireless environments, as well as service-provider IP core and edge networks. The engineer will lead Huawei technical delivery and manage multi-vendor integrations for public-sector, financial services, service providers, and large enterprises. The role includes ownership of networks connecting compute, storage, backup, and GPU infrastructure, collaborating closely with Systems Integration teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLDs/LLDs) for data centre fabrics, enterprise WAN, SD-WAN, campus, wireless, and IP core/edge networks.
- Design scalable data centre architectures, from traditional three-tier to spine-leaf VXLAN/BGP EVPN, including multi-site orchestration for active-active and disaster recovery setups.
- Architect national-scale SD-WAN and campus solutions featuring zero-touch provisioning, overlay/underlay integration, controller high availability, and seamless data centre connectivity.
- Lead Huawei implementations involving iMaster NCE Fabric and Campus, CloudEngine and S-series switching, NE and AR routing platforms, and Huawei firewalls, while integrating other vendor technologies.
- Manage IP core/provider-edge transformations, technology refreshes, SDN deployments, multi-vendor migrations, and live cutovers with thorough validation and rollback plans.
- Design network fabrics optimized for AI/GPU workloads and integrate with firewalls, load balancers, virtualization, cloud platforms, and existing multi-vendor environments.
- Embed security into network designs through strategic firewall placement, segmentation, and policy migration; lead complex escalations and root-cause analyses.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation including test plans, methods of procedure, migration and rollback strategies, and as-built records; lead customer User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and formal acceptance processes.
- Own Huawei technical escalations, maintain reference designs and configuration baselines, engage with partners, and mentor engineers progressing through HCIA, HCIP, and HCIE certifications.
- Support bid processes by validating solution feasibility, estimating effort and resources, assessing risks, preparing bills of quantity, conducting customer workshops, proofs of concept, and delivering technical presentations.

Required Qualifications
- 8 to 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 4 years focused on Huawei network solutions and 3 years in a technical or team lead role on large-scale programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven track record of end-to-end production network implementation and integration for government, financial services, or service-provider clients across data centre, WAN, and campus environments.
- Experience delivering large-scale software-defined networks, including controller-based data centre fabrics or SD-WAN rollouts exceeding 100 sites through customer acceptance.
- Hands-on expertise with Huawei platforms such as NE, AR, CloudEngine, and S-series, and proficiency in routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and MPLS.
- Familiarity with VXLAN/BGP EVPN, SDN controllers, iMaster NCE-Fabric/Fabric Insight/MDC-MDA, iMaster NCE-Campus or CloudCampus platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to execute live-production technology refreshes and multi-vendor migrations with structured fallback planning.
- Strong understanding of security integration and service-provider IP core/edge network architectures.
- HCIE-Datacom certification is strongly preferred; alternatively, HCIP-Datacom or HCIP Routing & Switching certifications are required, with a commitment to achieve HCIE-Datacom within three months of joining.
