Senior Network Support Engineer

Tower Technologies (Ltd.), a part of The Punjab Group, is a technology-driven organization dedicated to supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and digital operations across a diverse range of businesses within the Group. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Network Support Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations. This role demands ensuring high availability, robust performance, security, and reliable connectivity throughout the network environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networking, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and actively contribute to infrastructure improvement and expansion projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless networks across multiple sites.
- Manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and controllers.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity, routing, switching, VPN, and performance issues.
- Ensure network availability, security, reliability, and optimal bandwidth utilization.
- Monitor internet and fiber connectivity and coordinate with ISPs and technology vendors for timely issue resolution.
- Implement and maintain network security controls such as firewall policies, VPNs, and access control lists (ACLs).
- Support network upgrades, migrations, infrastructure expansion, and optimization initiatives.
- Perform root cause analysis and maintain detailed technical documentation of network configurations and incidents.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior network engineers and IT support teams.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 4+ years of relevant experience in network engineering, network administration, or enterprise network support.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-level network infrastructure across multiple locations is preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, switching, and wireless networking.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networking solutions.
- Familiarity with networking technologies and platforms such as Cisco, Huawei, MikroTik, HP, Aruba, Ruckus, UniFi, and Ubiquiti.
- Working knowledge of network security, firewall configuration, ACLs, and VPN management.
- Excellent network troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
- Understanding of network monitoring, performance optimization, and high-availability environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage technical priorities while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
