Senior Presales Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience specializing in network infrastructure and security solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in understanding customer needs, designing tailored technical solutions, preparing proposals and Bills of Quantities (BoQs), and delivering presentations and proof of concepts (POCs). This role requires close collaboration with the sales team throughout the entire opportunity lifecycle to ensure customer requirements are met and solutions are effectively communicated.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage directly with customers to gather and analyze technical requirements and business challenges.
- Design and propose comprehensive network infrastructure and security solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Prepare High-Level Designs (HLD), BoQs, technical proposals, compliance matrices, and solution presentations.
- Provide pre-sales support for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), tenders, and customer technical evaluations.
- Conduct technical presentations, workshops, product demonstrations, and POCs to showcase solution capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with Sales teams, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), distributors, and technical experts to develop and validate solutions.
- Offer technical clarifications and support during bidding and evaluation phases.
- Develop solutions involving switching, routing, wireless technologies, firewalls, SD-WAN, network security, and related areas.
- Coordinate with OEMs such as Cisco, Huawei, Dell, and Fortinet for solution validation, sizing, pricing, and technical assistance.
- Support sales efforts by identifying opportunities and performing technical qualification.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and ensure all proposed solutions comply with customer requirements.
- Participate in customer meetings, site surveys, and technical discussions to ensure alignment and feasibility.
- Assist in the smooth transition of awarded projects to the post-sales and implementation teams.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Pre-Sales or Network Engineering roles.
- Strong expertise in Enterprise Networking and Network Security, including routing and switching, enterprise wireless, next-generation firewalls (NGFW), SD-WAN, and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Proficient in network architecture and design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Huawei, Dell Networking, and Fortinet technologies.
- Ability to perform solution sizing, technical design, BoQ preparation, and product comparison effectively.
- Familiarity with enterprise customer environments, preferably within Financial Services Industry (FSI), large enterprises, or similar large-scale organizations.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or equivalent, Huawei HCSA Pre-Sales, with Fortinet certifications considered an advantage. Additional OEM certifications will be viewed positively.
