Our client, H&S Properties Pvt Ltd, an established real estate developer based in Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager specializing in Building Development to join their team in Karachi. This role involves overseeing building developments from execution through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and structural engineering, with extensive experience managing complex construction projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary representative of the developer on-site, monitoring progress, quality control, and contractor performance to ensure project objectives are met.
- Drive project schedules and timelines, manage variations, and maintain effective communication and coordination with supervision consultants and main contractors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and technical specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee site execution with a focus on structural systems and MEP integration, ensuring smooth collaboration between various teams.
- Manage authority procedures and approvals, maintaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies and consultants.
- Lead contractor administration, including performance evaluation and issue resolution to maintain project momentum.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Sc.) from a recognized institution.
- 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in civil or structural construction management, project scheduling, and contractor administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in site execution, structural systems, MEP coordination, and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Strong knowledge of authority procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Based in Karachi or willing to relocate to Dubai with flexibility for rotational travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience working with GCC or Dubai building standards is highly desirable.
- Experience managing high-rise or residential developments will be considered a strong advantage.
