We are a well-established real estate developer based in Dubai seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Senior Project Manager (Client Representative) to oversee our building developments from execution through to handover. This role is primarily targeted at senior engineering professionals located in Karachi, with options for relocation or rotational travel to Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in structural and civil engineering, coupled with proven experience in successfully delivering complex construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Developer’s primary representative on-site, ensuring consistent monitoring of project progress, quality control, and contractor performance.
- Drive project schedules, manage variations, and maintain effective coordination with supervision consultants and main contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Enforce strict compliance with building codes, safety standards, and technical specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee integration of structural systems with MEP components, ensuring alignment with design and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with authorities, consultants, and contractors to facilitate timely approvals and resolve any site-related issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. or B.Sc.), with a strong preference for graduates from NED University.
- 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in civil and structural construction management, including project scheduling and contractor administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in site execution, structural systems, MEP integration, and navigating authority procedures.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery within budget.
- Location flexibility: candidates based in Karachi are preferred, with openness to relocation or rotational travel to Dubai as needed.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Prior experience working with GCC or Dubai building standards is highly advantageous.
- Experience managing high-rise or residential developments will be considered a strong asset.
