Senior Project Manager - Satellite Communication Systems - TJ / 1892195

Our client, SPACE P (PRIVATE) LIMITED, is seeking a Senior Project Manager specializing in Satellite Communication Systems based in Islamabad. The successful candidate will lead and manage critical projects related to the deployment of satellite communication equipment and associated network services. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong technical background and proven leadership skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while upholding high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the deployment of satellite terminals in remote locations, ensuring seamless installation and operation.
- Coordinate with the Network Operations Center (NOC) for the configuration of satellite communication equipment, aligning with required satellite parameters.
- Optimize configurations of High Power Amplifiers (HPA) and receivers to achieve desired link performance on Geostationary Satellite Links.
- Configure IT networks utilizing satellite links as backhaul to support communication infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot deployed terminals to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Oversee support and repair activities for electronic and communication modules to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of approximately 20 professionals, fostering collaboration and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Apply strong project management principles including planning, risk management, budget control, resource allocation, and quality assurance within a technical environment.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology, with a major in Electronics.
- Preferably complemented by an additional degree or certification in Information Technology (IT).
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience in satellite communication systems or related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex technical projects involving satellite communication equipment deployment and network services.
- Strong knowledge of satellite communication technologies, including configuration and troubleshooting of satellite terminals and related hardware.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple project facets simultaneously while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
