Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts across our diverse platforms, including web, mobile, backend, and real-time sports applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure reliable, production-ready releases through comprehensive testing and automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end quality assurance for web, iOS, Android, backend APIs, and real-time features, ensuring all releases meet high standards of reliability.
- Design and execute detailed test plans covering functional, regression, and exploratory testing for new features, integrations, and critical user journeys.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for UI, APIs, integrations, and regression scenarios to enhance test coverage and release confidence.
- Conduct real-time and match-day testing, validating WebSocket/SSE functionality, event processing, synchronization, and application behavior under high-traffic conditions.
- Perform thorough financial and transactional testing, including wallet, ledger, token, payment, subscription, and transaction flows, with attention to concurrency, idempotency, failure recovery, and edge cases.
- Lead performance and reliability testing efforts such as load and stress testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure applications meet defined stability and performance benchmarks.
- Manage defect identification, prioritization, and tracking through to resolution, ensuring critical issues are addressed before production deployment.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, Frontend, Mobile, and UI/UX teams to detect issues early, verify correct implementation, and contribute to technical fixes or development changes supporting product quality.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in software quality assurance and testing, ideally covering web, mobile, and backend systems.
- Strong expertise in manual, functional, regression, exploratory, and API testing methodologies.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for UI, APIs, and critical workflows.
- Experience testing real-time systems, including WebSockets/SSE, high-traffic applications, and performance/reliability scenarios.
- Solid understanding of financial and transactional systems, defect management, release processes, and effective cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product teams.
