Altura is an AI technology partner dedicated to integrating technology seamlessly within business operations rather than running it alongside. The company begins by thoroughly understanding how a business functions—its processes, systems, data, and operational demands—to identify where technology can provide the most value. Altura develops a prioritized roadmap based on return, effort, and dependencies, clearly defining scope, investment, and success metrics. They implement custom software, automations, AI agents, and infrastructure tailored to each business’s needs, choosing the best technology for each priority. Unlike typical technology projects that fail at handoff, Altura maintains involvement beyond go-live, continuously improving solutions as operations evolve.
Key Responsibilities
- Unit Testing: Validate individual functions and calculations, test business logic and validation rules, assess edge cases, null values, invalid inputs, and verify error handling and expected outputs.
- Integration Testing: Test frontend-backend integration, verify API and database interactions, assess third-party integrations, and ensure data consistency and error handling between services.
- Functional Testing: Test all features against acceptance criteria, verify forms, validations, user actions, authentication, user permissions, and both successful and unsuccessful workflows.
- End-to-End (E2E) Testing: Test critical user workflows, verify correct data flow across the application, assess successful and failed transactions, and confirm expected results and notifications.
- Regression Testing: Retest existing features after code changes, run regression tests post bug fixes, verify critical workflows after updates, and document any newly introduced defects.
- Security Testing: Test authentication and authorization, verify role-based access and permissions, test input validation and common vulnerabilities, ensure sensitive data protection and secure API access, and check session management and access restrictions.
- Performance Testing: Measure page load and API response times, perform load testing simulating expected user traffic, test application behavior under peak loads, identify bottlenecks and resource usage, and verify recovery after performance failures.
- Usability and Accessibility Testing: Review navigation and user experience, verify responsive layouts and readability, test keyboard navigation and screen-reader support, check accessibility against WCAG criteria, and validate error messages and user feedback.
- Compatibility Testing: Test supported browsers and versions, desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, verify supported operating systems, and check responsive layouts and screen resolutions.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Validate features against business requirements, execute agreed user acceptance scenarios, document client feedback and requested corrections, retest resolved issues, and obtain formal client approval.
