As a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer at AdalFi, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality, performance, and reliability of our software solutions. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to rigorously test both mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about identifying software issues. Experience in writing test cases, reporting bugs, and working within Agile/Scrum frameworks is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Test mobile and web applications to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.
- Identify, document, and track bugs or inconsistencies, collaborating with developers to resolve issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases and scripts based on business requirements and user stories.
- Conduct various testing types including UI, regression, cross-browser, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Enhance testing infrastructure and internal QA processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Prepare clear and structured test reports summarizing results, performance issues, and defect metrics.
- Engage actively throughout the software development lifecycle, providing valuable input during design, development, and release phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Business Analysis, and UX to ensure software aligns with user expectations and project timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, preferably within Agile development environments.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development processes.
- Proven experience in writing and executing test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality user experiences.
- Willingness to work 100% onsite.
