Senior QA Engineer

As a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer at AdalFi, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality, performance, and reliability of our software solutions. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to rigorously test both mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys identifying software issues, and has experience creating test cases, reporting defects, and working within Agile/Scrum teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Test mobile and web applications to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.
- Identify, document, and track bugs or inconsistencies, collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases and scripts based on business requirements and user stories.
- Conduct various testing types including UI, regression, cross-browser, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Enhance testing infrastructure and internal QA processes to promote efficient and consistent test execution.
- Prepare clear and structured test reports summarizing results, performance concerns, and defect metrics.
- Engage actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle, contributing to design, development, and release activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Business Analysis, and UX to ensure software aligns with user expectations and project timelines.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, preferably within Agile development environments.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development processes.
- Proven experience writing and executing test cases, test plans, and detailed bug reports.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
- A detail-oriented approach with a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.
