Senior QA

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance professional to join our team in a full-time, in-person role. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by designing and executing thorough test plans. This position requires a proactive individual who can lead QA initiatives, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the QA process.

Key Responsibilities

- Quality Assurance: Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the highest level of software quality.

- Automation: Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, product management, and other stakeholders to define testing requirements and resolve issues promptly.

- Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, ensuring timely resolution.

- Reporting: Provide regular status updates and quality metrics to management, highlighting testing progress and outcomes.

- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and implement best practices in QA methodologies and tools to optimize overall testing effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 2 years in a project management capacity.

- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.

- Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience in software project management for at least 1 year is preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs90,000.
