Senior Quality Checker

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control (QC) professional to oversee and maintain the quality standards of leather jackets. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of leather garments and demonstrate the ability to identify, manage, and prevent quality issues throughout the production process. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work closely with the production team to ensure that every jacket meets the company’s quality expectations before reaching the customer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of leather jackets post-production to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Implement and enhance fundamental quality checking procedures to improve overall product quality.
- Examine stitching, measurements, finishing, accessories, and the general appearance of each jacket.
- Detect defects and collaborate with the production team to address and rectify quality concerns promptly.
- Contribute to minimizing quality-related issues, customer complaints, product returns, and rejections.
- Approve finished jackets after completing the final inspection process.
- Maintain accurate quality records and prepare straightforward inspection reports for documentation purposes.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in leather garment manufacturing, with a preference for candidates experienced in leather jackets.
- Strong knowledge of leather quality, stitching techniques, measurements, and finishing processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve quality problems effectively.
- Experience in stitching is considered an advantage but not mandatory.

Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in preparing reports and maintaining quality records.
- Familiarity with handling accessories and managing product returns.
- Solid understanding of inspection procedures within manufacturing environments.
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to upholding high-quality standards.
