Senior React Native & React Engineer PK

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer to take full ownership of frontend and mobile applications within an AI-first development environment. This role demands more than just executing tasks; it requires independent architecture decision-making, designing scalable systems, and transforming ambiguous product requirements into production-ready solutions. You will work on a lean team, driving technical direction and maintaining high standards across web and mobile platforms using React.js, React Native, Next.js, and TypeScript. Key Responsibilities

- Design and take ownership of frontend and mobile application architecture across React.js, React Native, and Next.js frameworks.
- Independently make architecture decisions focused on scalability, maintainability, performance, and reliability.
- Develop production-grade applications using TypeScript for both web and mobile environments.
- Work extensively with GraphQL APIs, defining clean and scalable integration patterns across frontend, mobile, and backend layers.
- Establish and enforce scalable engineering patterns and quality standards for architecture, code structure, testing, responsiveness, and developer experience.
- Lead technical direction beyond implementation details, ensuring both AI-generated and manually written code meet high-quality standards.
- Utilize AI-first and agentic development workflows with tools like Cursor and Claude to accelerate delivery without compromising engineering rigor.
- Translate ambiguous product needs into clear, actionable technical solutions.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across platforms.
- Collaborate directly with clients to maintain clear communication and a strong understanding of project requirements.
- Contribute to system design, performance optimization, testing strategies, and overall engineering productivity.
- Apply foundational knowledge of native mobile development concepts in Kotlin/Java and Objective-C/Swift when working with React Native integrations, debugging, or platform-specific challenges.

Required Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in React.js, React Native, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience working with GraphQL APIs.
- Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML or agentic development workflows using tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of native mobile development concepts in Kotlin/Java and Objective-C/Swift.
- Proven track record designing, developing, and maintaining production web and mobile applications.
- Deep understanding of software performance, responsiveness, maintainability, and overall quality.
- Ability to independently make architecture decisions and own the technical direction of projects.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging clearly with clients and stakeholders.
- Availability for full-time remote work aligned with EST or PST time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Exceptional English proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Ability to pass background checks and provide strong professional references.
