Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert anesthesia care specifically for cardiac surgery patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.
- Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize perioperative patient management.
- Participate in the development and implementation of integrated clinical pathways that enhance patient outcomes and streamline care delivery.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees within the anesthesia department.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the cardiac surgery anesthesia unit.
Required Qualifications
- FCPS (Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons) in Anesthesia or a relevant field.
- Valid certification and licensure to practice anesthesia in Pakistan.
- Proven experience in cardiac surgery anesthesia, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex cases.
- Strong clinical knowledge of perioperative care, anesthesia techniques, and patient monitoring.
