Senior Salesforce Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan, working onsite during the 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST shift. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable Salesforce solutions using both declarative tools and custom code. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and performance-optimized Salesforce applications aligned with Cloudsquare’s product architecture. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and configure scalable Salesforce solutions using declarative tools such as Flows, Validation Rules, Page Layouts, and Permissions, alongside programmatic logic including Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, and APIs.
- Evaluate the impact of proposed changes to ensure alignment with Cloudsquare’s product architecture and prevent downstream conflicts.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to clarify requirements, validate feasibility, and ensure solutions meet both technical and business needs.
- Participate in technical and architectural design reviews, adhering to Cloudsquare’s development, naming, and security standards.
- Write efficient, bulk-safe, and maintainable code that complies with Salesforce governor limits and company guidelines.
- Conduct thorough unit testing and self-validation to ensure quality before handing over to QA.
- Document all developed components clearly, including their purpose, dependencies, and test notes, ensuring traceability from requirements to deployment.
- Support QA by providing test scenarios, addressing bugs promptly, and ensuring fixes do not introduce new issues.
- Identify and contribute reusable components, scripts, and utilities to the Delivery Knowledge Hub to enhance project efficiency.
- Partner with Product and Delivery teams to ensure customizations align with product standards and avoid feature duplication.
- Assist in deployments, including metadata migration using Salesforce DX, Change Sets, or Git-based version control systems.
- Take full ownership of assigned tasks, from understanding business context to delivering tested, stable, and well-documented solutions.
- Optimize solutions for performance, security, and maintainability across client organizations.
- Stay updated on new Salesforce releases, tools, and Cloudsquare product updates, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage them.
- Maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams, raising risks early and suggesting improvements.
- Promote Cloudsquare’s core values through a collaborative, solution-oriented, and positive approach in all interactions.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 7 years of Salesforce development experience, combining declarative configuration and custom coding (Apex, LWC, Triggers, APIs).
- Proven track record of building and deploying solutions on Salesforce Lightning Experience.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including data model design, automation, security, and integration patterns.
- Experience working with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware tools.
- Proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools such as Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Dynamic Forms, and Permission Sets.
- Advanced Apex development skills, including asynchronous operations, trigger frameworks, and test-driven development.
- Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components and custom UI development.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Governor Limits, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
- Skilled in designing reusable, maintainable solutions consistent with product standards.
- Experience with data migration, data integrity, and error handling.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug both configuration and code issues effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized with strong time-management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working within a productized delivery model or developing enhancements for managed packages is preferred.
- Prior exposure to the lending or financial services industry, with familiarity in objects like Loan, Funding, Payment, and Syndication, is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git-based version control is advantageous.
