Senior Salesforce Developer (REMOTE)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan, working onsite during the 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST shift. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable Salesforce solutions using both declarative tools and custom code. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions aligned with Cloudsquare’s product architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and configure scalable Salesforce solutions using declarative tools such as Flows, Validation Rules, Page Layouts, and Permissions, alongside programmatic logic including Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and APIs.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes to ensure alignment with Cloudsquare’s product architecture and prevent downstream conflicts.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to clarify requirements, validate feasibility, and ensure solutions meet both technical and business objectives.
- Participate in technical and architectural design reviews, adhering to Cloudsquare’s development, naming, and security standards.
- Write efficient, bulk-safe, and maintainable code that respects Salesforce governor limits and product guidelines.
- Conduct unit testing and self-validation to ensure quality before handing over to Quality Assurance (QA).
- Document all components thoroughly, including purpose, dependencies, and test notes, ensuring traceability from requirements to deployment.
- Support QA by providing test scenarios, promptly fixing bugs, and ensuring fixes do not introduce new issues.
- Identify and contribute reusable components, scripts, and utilities to the Delivery Knowledge Hub to enhance project efficiency.
- Partner with Product and Delivery teams to maintain alignment with Cloudsquare’s product standards and avoid feature duplication.
- Assist in deployments using Salesforce DX, Change Sets, or Git-based version control.
- Take full ownership of assigned tasks, delivering tested, stable, and well-documented solutions.
- Optimize solutions for performance, security, and maintainability across client organizations.
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases, tools, and Cloudsquare product updates, proactively leveraging new features.
- Maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams, raising risks early and suggesting improvements.
- Promote Cloudsquare’s core values by fostering a collaborative, solution-oriented, and positive work environment.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 7 years of Salesforce development experience, combining declarative configuration and custom coding (Apex, LWC, Triggers, APIs).
- Proven track record of building and deploying solutions on Salesforce Lightning Experience.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including data model design, automation, security, and integration patterns.
- Experience working with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs or middleware tools.
- Proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools such as Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Dynamic Forms, and Permission Sets.
- Skilled in Apex development, including asynchronous operations, trigger frameworks, and test-driven development.
- Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components and custom UI development.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
- Ability to design reusable, maintainable solutions consistent with Cloudsquare’s products.
- Expertise in data migration, data integrity, and error handling.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for both configuration and code issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized with strong time-management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information

- Experience working within a productized delivery model or developing enhancements for managed packages is preferred.
- Prior exposure to the lending or financial services industry, with familiarity in objects such as Loan, Funding, Payment, and Syndication, is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git-based version control is advantageous.
