Role: Senior SAP Datasphere & SAC Consultant

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP Datasphere & SAC Consultant to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of advanced data warehousing and analytics solutions. This role emphasizes establishing and enforcing enterprise-grade data security and governance policies within SAP Datasphere. The ideal candidate will bring over seven years of deep expertise in SAP Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, with a proven history of delivering comprehensive solutions in regulated industries such as Public Sector, Telecommunications, and Energy.

Key Responsibilities

Data Security, Governance & DAC Architecture
- Design, implement, and maintain robust row-level and column-level security using Data Access Controls (DAC), authorization values, and criteria tables to restrict data visibility by user role, region, or department.
- Architect and govern Datasphere Spaces, defining clear boundaries, roles, and user-based security privileges across the tenant environment.
- Manage data lineage, impact analysis, and dependency tracking to ensure full data visibility and auditability from source systems to final reports.
- Conduct thorough data validation, reconciliation, and source-to-report accuracy checks to uphold data integrity and compliance standards.

Data Architecture & Modeling (SAP Datasphere)
- Design and implement enterprise data models including Fact Models, Dimension Models, Analytical Models, and complex star schema architectures.
- Develop and optimize Graphical Views, SQL Views, Data Flows, Transformation Flows, and CDS Views for efficient extraction from S/4HANA systems.
- Manage semantic layers by applying complex business logic such as joins, unions, filters, calculated columns, input parameters, associations, and hierarchies, including time-dependent reporting and master data handling.
- Configure global semantics including currency and unit conversions, exchange rate management, and measure semantics.

Data Integration & Performance Engineering
- Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using data integration tools like SAP Data Intelligence to orchestrate data movement and machine learning workflows.
- Configure Remote Tables, Replication Flows, OData connections, and CDS-based sources from various source systems.
- Oversee delta loading, scheduled replications, Task Chains, and data refresh monitoring, while optimizing system performance through persistence strategies and model simplification.

Analytics & Reporting (SAP Analytics Cloud)
- Develop impactful standard and customized SAC Dashboards, advanced stories, and analytical applications that align with security frameworks.
- Design, script, and implement complex SAC Planning scenarios to support corporate forecasting, budgeting, and predictive analytics.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, with a strong focus on SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Software, or related technical disciplines.

Industry Expertise:
- Proven experience delivering analytics solutions in sectors such as Public Sector, Telecommunications, Energy, or Sports.

Technical Proficiency:
- Strong skills in SQL scripting, data cleansing, and datatype conversion.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures, extraction techniques, and user-based security models.
- Hands-on experience integrating SAP Datasphere with SAC and downstream consumption layers.

Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills to translate technical security requirements into business operations.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing complex data migration and implementation projects.
