We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join the Securiti Sciences team. This role goes beyond traditional development or quality assurance by leveraging deep knowledge of system architecture and data flow to make strategic automation decisions, whether at the API or UI level. The successful candidate will drive quality excellence throughout the software development lifecycle, identifying issues at scale and championing continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust automation strategies across API and UI layers to ensure effective test coverage.
- Analyze system architecture and data flows to develop comprehensive testing approaches that address potential risks and gaps.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to embed quality practices early in the development process.
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve development and testing processes, promoting efficiency and effectiveness across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software test engineering, preferably within an enterprise SaaS environment, with a focus on application and/or security testing of web or network applications.
- Strong programming skills and hands-on experience with automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures.
- A proactive mindset with a strong passion for quality excellence and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field is preferred; however, candidates with equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
