Senior Shopify Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer with extensive experience in e-commerce to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify storefronts while ensuring smooth integration with various systems and optimizing website performance. This role demands hands-on expertise in Shopify development, including theme creation, custom app development, and API integrations, along with a strong understanding of e-commerce workflows and technical SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify storefronts using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend technologies. Build custom Shopify themes, sections, templates, and reusable components tailored to specific business requirements. Create custom Shopify applications and integrate third-party services to enhance store functionality.

Work extensively with Shopify REST API, GraphQL API, Storefront API, and Admin API to manage data and implement features. Develop advanced product pages, including product variants, bundles, collections, and complex product configurations. Integrate ERP, CRM, inventory management, payment gateways, and logistics systems to streamline business operations.

Implement webhooks, API endpoints, and automate data synchronization between platforms. Optimize website performance focusing on Core Web Vitals, loading speed, and technical SEO standards. Develop and maintain checkout, cart, discount, and payment functionalities to ensure smooth customer transactions.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring website scalability, security, and reliability. Manage Git repositories, version control, deployment processes, and development environments efficiently.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of professional Shopify development experience is essential. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience working within the e-commerce industry. Advanced knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language and theme architecture is required.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.js for frontend development is necessary. Hands-on experience with Node.js and custom Shopify app development is expected. Expertise in working with REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, and third-party integrations is mandatory.

A solid understanding of e-commerce workflows, including product catalogs, inventory management, and order processing, is crucial. Candidates should have a proven track record of independently managing end-to-end Shopify development projects. A portfolio showcasing live Shopify stores and technical projects is required.

Applicants with only general web development or basic Shopify theme installation experience will not be considered.
