Senior SOAR Engineer (FortiSOAR)

Snskies is looking for a Senior SOAR Engineer with strong expertise in FortiSOAR to lead the deployment, automation, and integration initiatives within a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in advancing the organization’s security orchestration, automation, and response capabilities by designing and implementing streamlined workflows and integrations that enhance incident response and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain FortiSOAR platforms to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Design and develop automated security playbooks aligned with SOC processes to improve incident handling and response times.
- Integrate a variety of security technologies including SIEM, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), firewalls, threat intelligence platforms, and IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
- Create custom connectors and integrations using Python scripting and REST APIs to extend the functionality of the SOAR platform.
- Oversee incident workflows, troubleshoot issues, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- Provide training and ongoing support to SOC personnel to maximize the effective use of SOAR tools and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in SOC operations or security engineering roles.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with SOAR platforms, including at least one complete FortiSOAR deployment from start to finish.
- Proficiency in playbook development, Python programming, REST API integration, and JSON data manipulation.
- Familiarity with SIEM solutions such as FortiSIEM, IBM QRadar, or Splunk.
- Strong understanding of SOC workflows, incident response processes, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and thorough technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Fortinet security certifications are highly valued.
- Experience working in enterprise SOCs or Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) environments is advantageous.
- Competitive monthly salary range of Rs100,000 to Rs200,000.
- This role requires on-site presence at the designated office location.
